Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

By installing or using aporia, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose, just like the app.

What aporia is

aporia shows one philosophical question a day, meant for personal reflection. It's an invitation to think, not a therapy session or medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it doesn't replace the guidance of a professional if you need one.

Using the app

  • aporia is for personal, non-commercial use.
  • The questions, copy, visual identity and other content in the app are the developer's property and protected by copyright. You're free to use them within the app, but not to republish, redistribute or use them commercially without permission.
  • You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with how the app works beyond its intended use.

Provided "as is", with no warranty

aporia is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to make it work well, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, aporia's developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use (or inability to use) the app, including personal decisions made from the reflection a question prompts. The questions are an invitation to reflect; what you do with that is, as it should be, entirely yours.

Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app and these terms over time, for example by adding new questions, languages or features. Meaningful changes to these terms will be reflected with a revised date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
